To prepare for the rollout of the Nigeria for Women Programme Scale-Up Project (NFWP-SU), two rounds of Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions on the Community Operations Manual (COMs) were completed in May/June and August 2025.
The trainings brought together Project Coordinating Units from Ekiti, Katsina, Ogun, Taraba, Kebbi, and Jigawa States, alongside their LGA teams, Federal Units, and the World Bank Task Team.
Participants gained skills and knowledge on forming and managing Women Affinity Groups (WAGs), applying the “Do-No-Harm” principle, and guiding community entry processes. These sessions ensure that implementation is consistent, inclusive, and effective at the grassroots.
This foundation will cascade into communities, creating lasting impact for women across Nigeria. Sustainable change starts here — one community at a time.
