As the Implementation Support Mission of the World Bank to Nigeria for Women Project Commences in earnest, the World Bank Task Team, Gates foundation team, Plan International and the NFWP Federal Project Coordinating Unit team paid a courtesy visit to the Village Head of KWAKA community Alhaji Musa Ijah in Gurara LGA. The entourage was warmly received and fruitful deliberations and interactions held on various subjects. Delightfully, the Village Head Alhaji Musa while speaking said NFWP will continue to enjoy his full support in as much as empowering women is the priority. He added that he is proud of the successes women in his community are recording. The Implementation Support Mission team then moved round to interact WAG members and likewise collectives.
