A new chapter for women’s empowerment in Northwest Nigeria was opened during the Northwest Governors’ Forum Summit on the Nigeria for Women Programme Scale-Up (NFWP-SU), held on July 2–3, 2025.
The summit brought together leaders, including Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State and the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim. The energy in the room reflected a shared commitment to expanding economic opportunities for women across the region.
The highlight was the official launch of the NFWP-SU by the Honourable Minister, a moment that promises to broaden impact, foster financial independence, and strengthen resilience for thousands of women.
